REBEL WITH AN INSURANCE CAUSE

Pull up a chair, I’ve got a story for you.  Go on, I’ll wait.

When I talk to my children about insurance, they leave the room.   Well, that’s not 100% accurate.  First, they perform very dramatic and exaggerated yawns and then they leave the room.  And this happens every single time I start talking about insurance which happens to be both my business and a passion.

Why do they yawn and then leave the room?  Well, for starters they are kids and they don’t find anything I do interesting, but they also assume that insurance is boring and that I’m going to bounce a bunch of big words off of them never saying anything meaningful.  They make the same assumption many business owners make that insurance is a commodity.  It’s not, and I approach insurance as a rebel, treating it with respect and authority, the same way all legal contracts should be treated.  (That sounds the exact opposite of being a rebel, right?)  Did that get your attention?  That’s right, insurance is a legal contract, and it deserves more than to scroll to the bottom and hit accept type of review from those making the purchase.

Allow me to introduce myself, I’m Bill Bolton, President of BB Insurance, and I’m the commercial insurance broker you didn’t know your business needed.  When it comes to your business, I make it my business to ensure you have the right coverages in place, that you’re protected, and that you understand what your coverage is providing you.  There are far too many businesses that are running with improper coverage.  If they are lucky, they’ll never realize it.

What about those who realize they have improper coverage? Their luck likely ran out because you generally only realize you have the wrong coverage when you’re filing a claim.

Here’s how I’m different, a bit of a rebel in fact, my customers aren’t annual renewals, they are treated like friends and family.  I check in on them regularly.  I ask questions to fully understand what they have and what they need before I ever sell them anything.  I get to know them and their business.  I get to know their customers.  I sound annoying, don’t I?  I’m not...I’m thorough, and you want me to be because you want to know you’re covered when that freaky thing happens in your business.  And if I’m your broker, you will be. I ask the questions, I check in, and I make sure you’re covered in all the right ways.

That’s what makes me a rebel with an insurance cause.  If you’re ready to renew or if you want someone to take a look at your existing policies and make sure you have the right coverages in place, give me a call.  Here’s my personal cell number.  I promise, if I don’t answer, I’ll call you back.  703-608-1690.

And yes, I’m going to keep telling my kids insurance stories.  I know deep down they are listening, even as they dramatically yawn and walk out of the room.
